EAU DE TOILETTE
by
LABPERFUM
EIBEL AND CO

I found this cologne in a perfumery in Madrid. It’s a beautiful smell, tbh I’ve pretty much used all of it. Sometimes I like to change up my scent, or mix. It’s from a new concept store which I saw a few of in Spain, there are huge jars full of essential oils that make up the scents and perfumes. It’s a fun and new way to buy a scent. I just wish I’d got more.

LIQUIDAMBAR
by
DIPTYQUE

Diptyque candles are my absolute favourite, and this is one from their special winter range. Its very warm and musky, which is nice in the colder months. The design is also pretty beaut. Diptyque’s advice for burning candles is make sure the top of the wax is all fully liquidised before you blow out the wick. You’ll add more burning time onto the candle, and won’t waste the wax. It really works, I’ve taken that advice and do it with all my candles, and the candles last a lot longer.
“Being inspired by real or imaginary trees, the house proposes in limited edition three candles among which cases and glass jars are decorated with creations of the painter Julien Colombier.”
If you want some nice candles for your home I recommend Diptyque, they’re quite pricey, so will be a treat maybe, but I say go for it every now and then 🙂

CEDAR INCENSE
by
INCIENSO DE SANTA FE
THE INCENSE OF THE WEST

I am obsessed with incense, and will literally burn it almost every day. This has to be the nicest incense I’ve ever come across. It smells like a burning log fire, and the cedar oak smell before you burn them honestly reminds me of the smell inside some of the houses in The Pines on Fire Island. It has an honest smell, which is calming and homely. I recommend more than anything, especially in the winter.

CATASTROPHE COSMETIC
FRESH FACE MASK
by
LUSH

My little sister bought me this for Christmas, and it’s such a cute product. It really works wonders on your face. I have good skin anyway, although its a bit dry and sometimes a little tired looking, but after I use this it seems to look a lot tighter and clearer. It has fresh blueberries, chamomile, Irish moss, and calamine. You have to keep it in the fridge to keep it fresh, but it’s really nice to put on your skin cold. It sort of crumbles off when it dries, or you can just hop in the shower and rinse it off. It doesn’t smell too great, it’s quite bitter, but it does a great job on your skin.

BOSS BOTTLED
by
HUGO BOSS

I’ve worn this aftershave since I can remember. To my close friends, (and ex boyfriends) this is literally known as Sam Morris’ smell. I love it because it’s the scent my first ever boyfriend wore, so I associated it with a certain kind of feeling. I then started wearing it myself in my early twenties and then didn’t stop. It has the perfect blend of notes. Hugo Boss says Balancing with a fresh and fruity top note, the warm, spicy-floral heart is dominated by geraniums and seasoned with just a dab of clove. The base note is decidedly male, a vibrating harmony of sandalwood, cedar and vetiver.’ Anything cedar or sandalwood will eventually end up in my room, I love love love.

NOURISHING BEARD GROOMING OIL
by
KIEHL’S

I tend to not over groom my beard too much, but if I’ve freshly trimmed, and am maybe going out, I will tab some of this beard oil in my palms and rub it into my beard. I usually then give it a comb through just to neaten it up. This one is nice, and gives your beard a nice sheen. It also looks like it comes in a poppers bottle which is lols. It has a blend of sandalwood, cedarwood and eucalyptus essential oils, so it’s very earthy, but not over perfumed, its quite subtle, which is good because it’s sitting on your face, and you don’t want it to overpower whichever cologne you may choose to wear.

ULTRA FACIAL DEEP MOISTURE BALM
by
KIEHL’S

I have pretty dry skin, so this heavy duty moisture balm from Kiehl’s is a life saver, especially when I go on a sunbed or spend time in the sun. I use it on my face and my body, and it’s super nourishing. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with oily skin, but for me it works a charm. It doesn’t really smell of much, it has a fairly neutral scent, which can also be quite nice occasionally. Also, because it’s a balm, it’s very thick, so you really don’t need a lot to go quite far, especially on your face.

RESURRECTION AROMATIQUE HAND BALM
by
AESOP

I just got this new moisturiser from Aesop to use as a body moisturiser. I have pretty dry skin, and hate the feeling of not having nourished it, so I like to be as moist as possible, for a lack of better words. When I spoke to a consultant they mentioned that all their products are made from essential oils, all natural, and so can be used really anywhere on the body. Obviously this is a hand balm, so it’s much more heavy duty than their lighter body creams, but for me the thicker the better. This one smells beautiful, it’s got hints of mandarin rind, rosemary leaf, and cedar atlas. I can smell the lavender oil in there too (which is one of the ingredients alongside many other kinds of oils), which is a calming smell. The mandarin is quite strong also, but it’s not overbearing like many citrus smells. I’m a fan.

AGE DEFENDER MOISTURIZER
by
KIEHL’S

This is the daily facial moisturiser I use at the moment. It’s from Kiehl’s which I’m a big fan of, and this face cream is really hydrating for my dry skin. It feels cooling on my face when I apply it, and it keep my face feeling protected in the cold weather. It’s also anti-wrinkle which is great for me as I approach 30 with the brakes firmly on. I prefer some of the smells of other Kiehl’s products, but the menthol smell in this definitely wakes you up in the morning.

HOT COFFEE SCRUB
by
STUDIO READY

This is a sexy product made with real coffee, sugar, sunflower seed oil and organic coconut oil. You just pop in the shower, scrub your ass, then then boom, smooth as fuck, and ready to go. It actually made my ass feel like a baby’s bottom. Really awesome product, and smells so fucking good, like biscotti. mmmm. Tbh even though it’s designed as an ass scrub I will probably use it all over my body. LOVE it.
